Vicars School is fully accredited by the Canadian Massage Therapy Council for Accreditation. With campuses in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta, it is often chosen by mature students because the school's independent study format allows them to fit their training into current work and family schedules. Students do most of the work by independent study and attend weekly or monthly tutorials for lectures, demonstrations and hands-on practice. Between tutorials, students work at home, using the school's materials to guide them. Instructors are always available by email.
It is affordable training for a second career: our students keep their day jobs, and rural or out-of-province students don't have to leave their hometowns. Even with the cost of commuting, we are a more economical (and family-friendly) choice than regular full-time studies. The school's standards of instruction and materials are high: Vicars grads are in great demand by employers in AB, SK and BC.
Vicars School of Massage Therapy is one of the top massage schools in Alberta and BC in terms of staff qualifications, the quality of our curriculum and materials, and the achievements of our graduates.
